Resumiendo el tiempo que no he publicado.

HOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

y era esencial ir a mi lugar favorito♥

I wanna watch Frozen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLAAAAA!
May you are asking to yourself: Is Sofia ok? What's Frozen?
Well, today I started a Bible study with Diana, who is 10 years old, and her sisters are JW.
Diana's mom passed away 2 years ago, so, the whole family have to deal with the pain, and the older sister Veronica, who is married and served in another congregation asked me if I could give bible studies to her sister. I say it was ok.
Diana used to study the Great Teacher book (Aprendamos del Gran Maestro, spanish), today we started studying the Good news brochure.
After we finished the study, she told me that she has a colouring book of Frozen (we have had those conversations about Frozen before), The book has stickes so she gave one (yes, I know, she is so sweet), the FUNNIEST part is that I haven't seen the movie yet (LOL!), but I love Elsa and Ana's hair, and everything about the arrangement of the movie (drawings, clothe, etc). D
Diana was so kind with me, besides my lack of knowledge about Frozen, she explained me about the characters and their relationship.
Anyways, I wanna watch Frozen as sooner as I can.
Today was a great day, I found a Return visit in service, encouraging conversations with my partner, Susana, who is one the first Witnesses in the city, I gave two bible studies, and I learnt more about Frozen.
Serve Jehovah is wonderful :)))))

Regional Convention 2014

HOLAAAAAAA!
I just had my convention the pass week and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, it helped me to see me already in the paradise.
We started on friday and something that I loved was the drama, some people that I know had part of it so it was cool.

On saturday there was the baptism day, sister Lucrecia got bautized, it was really emotional because an old sister got bautized and then she hug to the brother.
Old sister huging the bro, it melted my heart.
Sister Lucrecia was bautized by our eleder. That was her facial expression.

Hector welcoming to our new sister
A good new is that now we can watch TV in the brake time!!!!!!
No, it is a joke, we have monitors in all the hall in order that everybody could enjoy the program, a brother who is serving in Bethel says that it was supposed to be working in the fourth convention, but they worked in the night and the monitors were working in the FIRST convention! Such a Jehovah's blessing.

My congregation helped with the cleaning on Saturday, I have evidence (lol), it was a little bit hard to clean after the lunch because the attendance was around of 2,700 people in the hall.

Nathalia and me

With Rachel.

My sister and Natalia

With Tania.

This was a beautiful week, full of good news and friends. By the way, I am thinking really seriously in upload some post in Spanish, I am not sure about it.
Thanks for read,

Love, Sofia.

Pioneers' campaign

HOLAAAAAAAAAAA!
Have you ever heard about the pioneers' campaign?
Well, it's basically a campaign for pioneers who made themselves available to serve where there is a need, so I sent my request to the central American branch in August, and I was supposed to received it in the first days of November.
-November comes- and I hadn't received my assignment, but everybody from the others congregations already got it. So I thought that I wouldn't received one.
Today I was reading the new release from the convention in my bed(yes I had my convention the last week, I'm gonna post about it),  and I felt asleep there but then when I was in the most precious moment of my rest I heard my phone, I get up and I answered the phone, it was my elder, the conversation was like:
Me: hello.
Bro: hello, this is Brett, how are you?
Me: huh, good.
He: Did you go to give bible studies?
Me: nope
He; can you come to our house?
Me: why?
He: I have something for you.
Me: *lazy voice* aaaah ok, do you have my assignment?
He: just come.
Me: ok, I'll be there in 5 minutes.
I get there and I talked with her wife a little but, afterward the went out to his office and gave me my assignment and he told me: "here you have, congrats".
I was ECSTATIC. I couldnt believe that it was happening, it just awesome to see how Jehovah answered my prayer.
I am leaving on march and I am going to San Jacinto, Leon.
It is around 7 hours from my house in bus, I just received my assignment so I still don't know how it is. I will be posting about it :)
I'm so happy to have the opportunity to give Jehovah all my youth.

There I am c,

15 Things About Me. (Maybe more)

HOLAAAA! I just realized that the all of us (Jacquelyn, Rosa, Renee, Victoria and me, Sofia) haven't intruduce ourselves yet.
So, I decided to answer 15 questions that I think you may have asked about me.
IF YOU HAVE A BLOG AND WANT TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS YOU CAN DO IT.

My name it is Sofia Córdoba.

I got bautized on February 09th 2013, so, around a year and 7 months.

4. How did you know the truth?
Basically in High school, I had this classmate -love you Alixe-, who is a Witness and she always talk about the Bible with me, and I was suprised that all the questions that I asked her, she always answer them with the Bible, and her behavour in school was really different as well. So, there was when I realized that what the teach it is true.
Nodoby in my family is a Witness, by the way.

5. What is your first language? Do you speak another languages? If so, how did you learn it?
My first language is Spanish.

I was thinking about pioneering since I knew that it exist (haha)
I was really grateful with Jehovah that I wanted to show him my appreciation for everything that he have done. I was my last year of high school so I decided that it would be the perfect moment for me to take that decision. -NO REGRETS-

11. How do you do to support your pioneering?
I help a little girl with her homework, I do jewelry and I started to take photography, as my own business. (I will attach my pages below)

12. Which obstacles did you had to cope in order to reach your gol of serve as a pioneer?
First at all let Jehovah know about my plan.
And then the "action" starts. Hahah-
Obstacles:
1. My parents wanted that I attend the college.
2. In the place where I was in my internship offered me the full time job.
3. I had to find a job that allows me pioneer.
Jehovah put everything in the right place in order to help me, and here I am.

13. Have you ever went to a place where the need is great?
Yeah, but just for a few weeks.
I went to Malacatoya and Rosita. (The experiences are in this blog too)

14. Any random experience?

Yes, well, I guess so.
I went to Rosita with another 50 brothers and sisters to help with a KH construction.
I stayed in a sister's house with another 4 sisters, we had the whole house for us, the neighborhood was dangerous, and some of the people didn't speak spanish, just Miskito or Mayagna, which are native languages.
So, that night we stayed up until 11 pm, and we were talking and then we heard that someone was outside, I was asleep in bed listening to music, so I was not worried, but my friend, kept saying things to me.
This was our conversation.
She: Someone it is outside.
Me: yeah.
She; Can you heard him?
Me: No, I am listening to music.
She: Are you afraid?
Me: No.
And you?
She: No.
Me: Of course you are!
She: SHHHH, Do silense, may he can hear us.
Me: You see, you are afraid. Hahaha
She: Ohhhh.

It was random, but nothing happen :)

15. Something else that you would like to say.

I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH. ♥

Sacrifices made with joy.

I am very happy my friends.
Why? Yesterday I woke up and I ckecked my Instagram.
I follow an account -@pioneercloset- which give ideas about outfits and stuffs.
In one of the photos the sister asked how do the pioneer do to support the pioneering.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE read the answers.
I will share with you some of them:

"I pioneered in my younger days working part time cleaning homes. My daughter is a pioneer now working part time as a pharmacy tech"
"I work from home. I sew and design quilts and I opened a store on-line. I also live a very simple life and remind myself of how rich I really am"
"I work 20 hrs a week as a floral designer. Not only do I get to work with Jehovah's beautiful creation but also get what I love the most. pioneer! I have a great support from my family too"
"My husband took an early retirement with a big penalty, but we are pioneering together 10 years now and Jehovah always provides! Have had the privilege of helping to form 2 new ASL congregation and helped deaf ones to baptism. No regrets!!!"

"I am a regular auxiliary and I work for a pioneer couple cleaning a private school, it is hard humble work but I get to pioneer and home school my daughter."

" I am a nurse and my husband's a self-taught graphic designer. We both work 24-30 hours a week and have the same service schedule. He's at almost 19 yrs & I'm starting 17 in FT service. It's not easy but we've always found Jehovah to come through."

" My husband supports me as an electrician and I work part time as a medical coder from home. I pioneer with my 3 year old right by my side!"
If you liked to read these experiences share this blog with your friends! And if you are planning to be a pioneer I hope that you could take ideas from this blog.
